Compliance Committee

Outline

This committee oversees and promotes compliance across activities by JIRA including its divisions. The committee promotes understanding and conducts education and training through workshops to raise awareness of compliance among member companies and enhance their compliance.

Main activities

The JIRA Compliance Committee was established in April 2004. Its basic policy is to educate the association and its member companies on compliance with domestic and international laws and regulations concerning operations, such as development and manufacturing, marketing and distribution, and maintenance and repair of medical equipment and promote their understanding. The committee established JIRA Compliance Declaration and Rules in September 2004.
